Inspired by nature, Bio Power has designed two new systems to convert the energy of ocean waves into power. Bio Wave is based on the swaying motion of sea plants while Bio Stream mimics the shape, motion and propulsion of Thunniform mode swimming species like sharks, tuna and mackerel. Both systems convert energy into electricity, with low costs and low environmental impact. Systems are being developed for 250kW, 500kW, and 1000kW capacities to match conditions in various locations; testing what could be the undersea equivalent of a wind farm.
